The quality of finish is not affected by the use of "Hydrex". Flame treated, polished or honed finishes retain their aesthetic qualities even after treatment with "Hydrex".

It is important to note that there are no impregnators on the market that completely negate the adverse effects of harsh chemicals or weather, yet we find "Hydrex" will greatly reduce all types of deterioration to stone and porous cementitious materials.
