- Requires no on site work other than cutting to length
if necessary.
- Thickness of standard side plates is 1mm brass or zinc,
.7mm stainless steel and 3mm rebonite. These combinations
give the joint a wearing surface compatible with that of
the paving, eliminating uneven wear pattern previously experienced
with heavy and hard metal strips.
|
- Quick and easy installation. Installed at the same time
as laying the wet underbed, ensuring positive anchorage
and a gauge for the paving thickness.
- Side plates are of first quality rolled brass alloy, hard
zinc, stainless steel or rebonite. For external application
brass, stainless steel or rebonite with stainless steel
anchors are recommended.
|
- Top finishing.
All Neoprene-X-Pansion Loc Strips have a 6mm or 12mm wide
neoprene trafficable wear surface. Standard production is
machine dressed in the factory so that the product as delivered
may be used in insitu ground, trowel finish or tiled installations.
31mm, 40mm and 50mm Loc Strips are designed to accomodate
normal grinding and polishing on site. Stainless steel product
should not be ground or polished on site.
- Control section is of first quality neoprene. Air channels
are incorporated to allow maximum flexibility for expansion
and contraction whilst still maintaining a good, hard top
wearing surface. Available in standard colour black or optional
buff or grey.
|
- End Finishing.
All standard Loc Strip ends are undercut to allow a neat
butt jointing.
- The metal side plates are punched and pierced at regular
175mm intervals, forming anchoring loops along the entire
length of the strip - these loops are located directly opposite
to equalise the loading and accommodate the GW5O or SSW5O
Wire Anchors.
- Neoprene-X-Pansion Loc and Tile Strips are finished straight
along the critical top viewed edge to provide a level finish
to the floor, with a top edge bow tolerance of 1 mm per
metre. This provides a neat level surface, assisting the
floor layer, allowing the pavement to be easily maintained.
